Where/What is THE HALL at SMA?

THE HALL is SMA’s lower-level GA concert and events venue. Located on the lower level of the Auditorium, THE HALL has its own entrance and box office located in SMA’s rear parking lot, off of Memorial Dr.

Are concerts at THE HALL General Admission or assigned seating?

The answer is, BOTH. Some shows at THE HALL will offer strictly GA ticket availability. However, many shows offer the option of assigned seating OR GA tickets. When purchasing tickets for a show at THE HALL, you will be offered the option to select a seat or purchase a GA ticket depending on the set up for that particular show. If seat selection is not available while purchasing tickets, this simply means the show is GA only and assigned seating is provided for that particular show. *NOTE* ALL shows at THE HALL provide ADA seating accommodations, available for selection at the time of ticket purchase. 

How does assigned seating vs. GA affect ticket prices?

Ticket prices will vary depending on seat selection, and GA tickets are typically priced lower than assigned seats. *Please Note: With the exception of ADA accommodations, floor seating is not provided for GA ticket holders or GA only shows. *

Does THE HALL offer the same selection of concessions as the Auditorium?

YES! A yummy selection of bar style food is available for purchase at THE HALL’s concessions. A wide selection of beers, hard seltzers, wine-based cocktails, soft drinks, and bottled water are also available for purchase. *NOTE* All of THE HALL’S concession stands are CASHLESS. Debit, Credit, and digital pay options including Apple, Samsung, and Google Pay are the only payment methods accepted for food and beverage purchases. Cashless system is not applicable for tickets and merchandise.

Having recently undergone a building renovation with extensive upgrades, including brand new concert style sound and lighting provided by the industry’s top professionals at Palmetto Sound Works, fans can count on a premier concert experience.
