The Event Coordinator shall be responsible for planning, organizing and managing SMA events. This person shall work with the Event Services manager in supervising the events. This person shall prepare event worksheets, scaled drawings of event areas, coordination of equipment distribution, event billing monitoring and such other functions and duties as required.
Under supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager, these positions are responsible for stocking concession stands, assisting with kitchen and other food and beverage prep, keeping all concession areas neat and well maintained and other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager. Prior experience in food and beverage operations is desired but not required.
Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of the auditorium. Responsible for setting up and doing preparations for events. Responsible for removal of equipment and event teardowns post event. May act as a Manager on Duty for smaller events. Performs minor building repairs as directed. Reports to Operations Manager and Director of Operations.
