The Theater

For over 70 years, the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium has been revered as the Showplace of the South, not only for audiences, but for promoters as well. Our knowledgeable and personable staff is eager to work with our incoming promoters and make sure that their shows run smoothly and that their experience is positive.

The Theater at SMA is aesthetically magnificent, featuring classic raked style fixed seating, two tiers of balcony seating, and a mechanical orchestra pit. The design is classically elegant with red clothed seating and gold color interior, accented with warm house lighting as well as aisle and balcony lighting.
