Christened the 'Showplace of the South' in 1951, Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium is one of the finest theaters in the country, with seating capacity of 3244 and one of the largest stages in the southeast. As the Carolina's largest theater, Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium showcases the best in Broadway, Comedy acts and musical entertainment. It also provides a site for local entertainment, sporting events, banquets, and trade shows.
