  • Where can I get the best tickets to an event?

    The Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium is a member of the Ticketmaster ticketing network. Tickets for events at the Auditorium can be purchased at the Ticket Office (in person only), or through the Ticketmaster.com website.

  • What forms of payment are acceptable when purchasing tickets at the Auditorium?

    We accept the following: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Cash.

  • Are there any advantages to purchasing tickets for events at the Auditorium Ticket Office?

    When purchasing tickets for events at the auditorium ticket office, ticket sellers are able to locate seats of your choice based on availability.  Also, you only pay a service charge if you use a credit/debit card to purchase tickets.

  • At what age does a child need a ticket?

    Children under the age of 2 are free at most Auditorium events, but must sit on someone’s lap. If the child is 2 or older, you will have to purchase a ticket. Any show has the right and authority to change the minimum age for which a ticket must be purchased. Please be sure to check the event information.

  • Where would I pick up my tickets that I ordered online?

    Tickets you have purchased online through Ticketmaster will be emailed to you and can be scanned at the door.  No need for a hard ticket.  Also, you can retrieve your tickets from your online ticketmaster account as well.

  • What happens if I lose my tickets?

    The auditorium does not reprint lost or stolen tickets.

  • Can I get a refund on my ticket?

    When an event is cancelled, refunds will be given. When you purchase a ticket, you do so by understanding that no refunds will be issued if an event plays as scheduled.

  • Where is the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium located?

    The Auditorium is located at 385 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC.  We are next to Wofford College and a couple of blocks north of Main Street and Morgan Square which is the in the center of the Downtown area of Spartanburg.

  • What are the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium hours of operation?

    Ticket Office: Mon-Fri 9:00am-3:00pm   (Weekend and evening hours vary depending on event schedule.)

  • What is the Auditorium’s policy on cameras?

    Small, nonprofessional cameras are acceptable for most shows. Video cameras are NEVER allowed at a concert. Professional cameras with removable lenses and flash attachments are normally prohibited. Management for any show has the right to change the camera policies.

    Guests who do not comply with the above policies should note that staff and/or representatives from any shows or events reserve the right to confiscate any tape, film, memory card or recording equipment. Any of these confiscated items may become property of the auditorium, the show or event and the contents of anything on the memory cards or storage devices, including all photographs/video already on the camera not related to the concert/event, may be erased.

    All media request must be made in advance.

  • Prohibited Items Policy

     What is prohibited at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium concerts and ticketed events?

    • Metal detector wands to be used at all points of entry

    Bags must satisfy the guidelines below in order to be taken into the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium:

    • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
    • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
    • Small clutch bags, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap
    • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose

    Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to:

    • Purses larger than a clutch bag
    • Briefcases
    • Backpacks
    • Fanny packs
    • Cinch/Drawstring bags
    • Luggage of any kind
    • Computer bags
    • Diaper bags
    • Binocular cases
    • Camera bags
    • Go-Pros
    • Tablets/iPads
    • Selfie sticks
    • Non-approved seat cushions, which include large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments or cover

    The Auditorium does not allow laser pointers, video or audio recorders, professional cameras, knives or weapons, or outside food and beverage. Re-entry is prohibited. Please remember this is a non-smoking facility.

  • What kind of behavior is not allowed?

    It is important that we keep a safe environment for all of our guests. With that in mind, individuals may be removed from the Auditorium for fighting, being a minor in possession of alcohol, handing alcohol to a minor, being unruly or too intoxicated for their own safety, or conducting any illegal activity. Anyone asked to leave will not receive re-entry or refund of any kind.

  • Why do you search people?

    The public is searched to help protect and minimize risk to guests. Items that are NOT allowed include: weapons of any kind, including pocket knives and mace, professional cameras, laser pointers, bottles and cans of any kind, and outside food. Most concert promoters do not allow video recorders or cameras.

  • Is the Auditorium accessible to persons with disabilities?

    Yes, the Auditorium meets requirements of the American with Disabilities Act. Please note that there is no elevator to the balcony.  All ADA seats are located on the main floor of the auditorium

    All ADA tickets are available at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium box office by calling 864-582-8107.

    Though all of our entrances are ADA accessible, a specially-designated handicap-only entrance is located at the left side on the front of the auditorium.  There is also an elevator entrance adjacent to the auditorium box office.

    The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in employment, State and local government, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation, and telecommunications. The ADA seating areas are reserved for ADA persons and their companions only. If you do not meet ADA requirements you will not be permitted to sit in our ADA seating.

    To be protected by the Federal ADA law, one must have a disability or have a relationship or association with an individual with a disability attending the event. We reserve the right to re-seat or remove any guests from the property that violate the Federal ADA laws.

    Parking: A limited number of Accessible parking spaces are located in the Auditorium Parking Lot. The spaces are available on a first-come first serve basis and guests may enter the Parking Lot from Memorial Drive. All vehicles requiring accessible parking must have the proper decal displayed from the rearview mirror or have an applicable license plate.

    Elevators: A public elevator is available in the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. The elevator is located next to the box office entrance.  

    Restrooms: All public restrooms are designed to be accessible to our guests with disabilities. Guests will find accessible features such as stalls, sinks, mirrors, and paper towel dispensers.

    Service Animals: Although animals are not allowed in the Auditorium, an exception is made regarding service animals for guests with disabilities. Please contact the Auditorium about service animals.

  • Can I leave the building and come back into an event?

    Re-entry is not allowed for any event.

  • Why are guests allowed to stand during events?

    When you buy a ticket, it gives you the right to sit in your seat and enjoy the concert. It also gives you the right to stand IN FRONT OF YOUR SEAT. People are not allowed to sit, stand or dance on the stairs, in the aisles, or in the section entrances.  Please be courteous and respectful for the guests that are around you.

  • Why can’t I smoke in the auditorium?

    The City of Spartanburg has a no smoking ordinance for all public places in the city. Currently there is a designated smoking area located outside the front of the auditorium.  Ushers can direct you to this location.  This policy applies to e-cigarettes as well.

    "Smoking" means (1) lighting or burning any type of matter or substance that contains tobacco, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, beedies, kreteks, water pipes, bongs, and hookahs; (2) lighting or burning of non-tobacco plants or marijuana; and (3) using electronic cigarettes. 

    "Tobacco Products" means all forms of tobacco, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, pipes, beedies, kreteks, water pipes, bongs, and hookahs, electronic cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, snuff, chewing tobacco and any non-FDA approved nicotine delivery device or product.

  • Are Pets allowed in the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium

    Pets are not allowed inside the auditorium.  An exception is made regarding service animals for guests with disabilities.

  • Alcohol Sales at Concerts and Other Events

    No alcohol or any illegal substances may be brought into the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, nor consumed in any of the local parking lots. Violators will be cited by City Police and are subject to significant fines. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased by persons 21 years of age or older with legal identification inside the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.  The Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium reserves the right to evict an underage guest who is observed to be drinking alcohol or to any guest who appears to be intoxicated.  the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium also reserves the right to deny entrance to an intoxicated guest.

    All alcohol sales will cease 30 minutes prior to end of event at management discretion
