Safety Protocols
The Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium values our guests and we have made every effort to provide a safe experience to all during the current pandemic. Our staff will continually sanitize all surfaces before, during, and after events using cleaning solutions, equipment, and practices that adhere to the guidance of the U.S. Center for Disease Control, EPA, and DHEC.
We will not enforce our clear bag policy during dance competitions. Our dance competition bag policy will be different from our clear bag policy that we enforce for ticketed events. We will allow all bags inside our venue after each bag has been through a security check point. All dancers and guests will be subject to a security check and a temperature check before entering the building.
All dancers and guests must walk through one of our metal detection scanners before entering the building. Dancers and guests must remove all objects from their pockets before walking through one of our metal detectors.

Since 1951 Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium has showcased national talent, local entertainment, sporting events, banquets, and trade shows. Through the years the auditorium has hosted top name acts including Taylor Swift, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Journey, Brad Paisley, Tyler Perry and family shows like Sesame Street Live and Disney Junior Live.
Spartanburg was named South Carolina’s second Downtown Cultural District, with public art on every corner, bustling downtown events, and a rich history, Spartanburg can't be beat!
